A few of our providers have been reading the book Healthy Kids, Happy Kids by Elisa Song, MD. She is an integrative pediatrician who is passionate about gut health and her book is phenomenal! She also teaches about how to safely and appropriately use homeopathy which we are also learning about. We will continue to offer all standard medical treatments but hope to have this as a tool in our toolkit for times when it may help and for families who are interested.

One of the things we love about her book is how practical the recommendations are. For example, did you know that the best probiotic to give your child after a round of amoxicillin is lactobacillus rhamnosus GG strain? We started looking at the probiotics that are our go to recommendations and realized that most do contain this specific strain of probiotic. The recomendation is to take it for 6 months following the use of amoxicillin. After doing some research, we realized that Love Bug Probiotics have several products that contain this strain. We are pleased to announce that we will be carrying these two products in office now so you can pick some up if you want to help your child's microbiome recover after a round of amoxicillin in particular.

The kids product is a 60 count (larger size as it also comes in 30) and is $40 including tax.

The baby product is $20 including tax.

Happy Easter! We are so thankful to serve a risen Savior! We will be closed today to celebrate Easter with our families but we will resume normal office hours tomorrow. The telemedicine option will remain open today should anyone need it.

Good morning everyone. Unfortunately we will have to be closed this weekend as we are having to have our parking lot dug up in order to do some building maintenance. The work should be able to be completed so that we are operational again on Monday morning. They are beginning to cut today so at some point everyone will be required to use our second entrance to get into the parking lot but we will remain open until 8 this evening as usual. If needed we also have the lot next door for parking. We are so sorry that we will have to close this weekend but the phones will be rolled to offer the telemedicine option should that be needed.

We see you medical mamas (and daddies). We know you never chose this life but we recognize your immense love and the sacrifices you so willingly make. Your babies are so blessed by you and we are blessed to witness your special bond and walk alongside you. Most of all, we love seeing each child's sweet personality and know that none are defined by any earthly limitation. ❤️

A “medical mom” is a mom who has a child with one or more medical complexities. (Dad’s, too 😉)
A medical mom is medically trained, educated and knowledgeable on her own child, their diagnosis, medical history, symptoms and treatments.
A medical mom may not have formal medical training but dug in, researched, investigated and kept records from day 1. She knows the in’s and out’s of the medical system because she navigates it every day and lives it with her child.
A medical mom knows how precious life is and has lived both the longest and shortest seconds of life.
She knows how hard it is to pass her child off to a nurse, to trust in a surgeon, and the heart break of watching her child being wheeled towards the operating room. Whether the first time or the eighth, it never is any easier.
She also knows that nothing compares to those first few exhilarating moments when you are reunited with your child in the recovery room.
She knows the terminology, diagnoses, medical jargon and finds herself using the words in every day life.
She can recite off the top of her head the highlights of her child’s medical history, all the medications and dosages.
She is no stranger to administering medication and performing medical procedures daily at home.
She is a regular at the pharmacy and they know her by name.
She knows the view from the back of an ambulance or a life flight.
It’s very likely that she has a bag packed and ready to go for hospital admittances which includes things like an extension cord, lip balm, and warm blanket/socks.
She knows what time doctors do morning rounds, and what’s best on the cafeteria menu.
She knows the beeps of the machine, can read test results, and takes vitals at home.
She knows that nothing is more heart breaking than seeing her child sick and going through things that she cannot make all better.
She is very organized. She keeps track of treatments, her child’s extensive medical team, and all the appointments.
She is no stranger to advocacy and has fought many battles for her complex child that many couldn’t even fathom.
She is perpetually exhausted not just from a lack of sleep but from the daily stress and responsibilities of being a caregiver.
She will smile and say “okay” or “fine” when people ask how she is doing because the truth is beyond complex and the answer would pour out.
She will only ask for help as a last resort. She has become accustomed to the daily grind of doing all the things, on her own.
She would never choose the life she lives, but she would never trade it either because her child is everything to her.
A medical mom is strong and resilient. She is a different breed, out of necessity. She lives a level of hard that many people would not understand, but she does it fiercely yet lovingly.
Her love knows no bounds.

Due to the potential for severe weather this evening and to keep our staff and patients safe, we will close this evening at 4pm. Please call us if your child needs to be seen and we will be sure to see them before this time.

These are great ideas!

These are great ideas!

01/26/2026

We are planning to open at 8am in the morning. Please do not get out if you do not feel that you can safely do so. All no show fees/canceled same day fees will be waived tomorrow. We will update early in the morning if anything changes. Otherwise, stay safe and we will see you tomorrow!

01/26/2026

Our clinic will remain closed tomorrow. We have spoken with everyone who was on the schedule for tomorrow. We hope you all stay safe.

01/25/2026

We have decided to close the office today since the roads will likely start freezing an hour after our opening time. If you suspect your child may need any medications over the next few days please give us a call and choose the telemedicine option. If this is done in the next couple of hours it is likely that pharmacies will still be more easily accessible. If your insurance does not cover telemedicine visits please do not let that hinder you as we can work to find a way around that.

01/24/2026

We are closing early for the day since all patients have been seen. We will continue to update closely throughout the next few days. As always, if you need medical attention outside of office hours, you may choose the option for a telemedicine visit with Dr. Dudley if needed.

01/24/2026

Good morning everyone! We will be open today at noon. Please give us a call if your child needs to be seen and most of all please stay safe on the roads!
