Each employee is carefully screened using background, sex offender registry, and nurse aide registry checks. Each is required to submit a TB test and is required to have a valid drivers license and verifiable auto insurance. Alabama Home Care Specialists provides a variety of elder care services, from homemaking services to personal care services, as well as services specifically targeted for seniors with alzheimer's disease or dementia. AHCS provides elder care 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. AHCS works closely with most Long Term Care insurance companies, such as Genworth, Metlife, TransAmerica, New York Life, and many more.
