We are pleased to announce that Moonlight Yoga with Connie will be returning to the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater for the upcoming season.

With four opportunities to participate, this unique experience continues to be one of our most well-attended events each year, outside of our concert lineup.

We look forward to welcoming both returning participants and newcomers for another relaxing and memorable season under the stars.

🌳We're thrilled to see the excitement about our Rooted in Community: 1,000 Tree Planting Event from our community! People are purchasing trees and signing up to volunteer their time left and right, and we want YOU to join us too! We would love to see community groups and organizations, businesses, church groups, school clubs and sports teams, families, and so many more out with us on Saturday, April 18 to celebrate our anniversary milestones for the Macon County Conservation District and the Macon County Conservation Foundation as well as Earth Day and Arbor Day.

Self discipline in exercise is finding something that you love doing enough to show up for yourself even on days you don’t want to. Self discipline is NOT forcing yourself to do things you don’t enjoy. Listening to your mind and body is the key to finding sustainably.

With spring quickly blowing our way, the yoga underground is shifting from monthly flow & create events to monthly flow and recreate events. The goal here is to get outside and enjoy fresh air after a 1 hour yoga practice.

What I have in mind for these in the upcoming months are:

March 27- fleet feet brew run 5k
March 28- fleet feet hangover run 5k
Fleet fleet is right down the road from the yoga underground. We’ll have a 1 hour yoga practice and to warm up we will walk to fleet feet from TYU. You’ll need to register yourself for the race but it is free!

April 18- rooted in community
Macon County Conservation District is celebrating 60 years and earth day by planting 1,000 oak trees
The Yoga Underground is leading a 1 hour flow before the tree planting event, we are also volunteering as a group to help plant trees. If you would like to volunteer with TYU please send me a message. You can also volunteer as an individual if you would prefer! It is free to volunteer. If you would like to purchase a tree that is getting planted it is $20.

Because March and April are events not hosted by the yoga underground I will not be creating a separate FB event for them. If you would like to join with the group please send a DM

May 23- all dayer Decatur bike trail day hike sun up to sun down, picnicking along the way! There is a Facebook event for this flow & recreate! Please mark going there if you plan to attend!

As the summer goes on I would like to plan for disc golf, kayaking, and maybe a little yoga camping retreat. 🪁
