Georgia Primary Care Association

Georgia Primary Care Association FQHCs, or Community Health Centers, offer healthcare services to many vulnerable Georgians.

Since 1977, the Georgia Primary Care Association (GPCA) has been the statewide voice for 330 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in 140 Georgia counties. The Georgia Primary Care Association (GPCA) has been the guiding organization for all Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in Georgia since 1977. These FQHCs provide comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services to uninsured or underinsured Georgians. We represent 35 FQHCs encompassing 330 clinics spread across 140 Georgia counties, providing excellent care to 669,000 Georgians. GPCA and its FQHCs members aim to provide quality healthcare services to the underserved and support the development of community-based health centers throughout Georgia.

GPCA is thrilled to share that YourTown Health is now home to its very own "Free Little Library & Pantry" in Palmetto, GA!

This cheerful “take a book, leave a book” space is all about inspiring a love of reading and supporting our community. Alongside great stories to discover, you’ll also find a pantry stocked with non-perishable food items for anyone in need.

We invite health center advocates, patients, and neighbors to stop by, browse, contribute, and help YourTown Health spread a little kindness — one book and one meal at a time. 💛

GPCA was excited to celebrate the relaunch & ribbon cutting ceremony with Diversity Health Center for its community garden on November 17th — First launched in February 2019, the community garden was created to do more than grow food — it was built to grow wellness, knowledge, and connection. 🌿💚

The garden helps provide fresh produce, creates a welcoming green space, and supports programs like nutrition education, garden-to-table classes, and healthy living activities. It serves community health center patients and local residents — helping improve health and chronic conditions throughout the community.
