These myths concerning mental health all need to go away.

01/07/2026

Nobody plans for their life to be interrupted by depression, trauma, addiction, or an eating disorder.
No one wakes up and chooses this.

And yet we still hear things like:
“Why don’t you just try harder?”
“Why did you let it get this bad?”

This is your reminder:
Struggle is not consent.
Pain is not permission.
Survival is not failure.

If you’re carrying something heavy, it doesn’t mean you did anything wrong.
It means you’re human—and you’re still here.

Men’s Mental Health Matters 💙

Society often tells men to “tough it out” or “man up,” but the truth is: it’s okay to not be okay. Mental health doesn’t discriminate, and asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Talking about your feelings, sharing what’s going on in your mind, or seeking support is brave—and it can save lives. Whether it’s with a friend, a family member, or a professional, reaching out matters.

Let’s break the stigma. Let’s normalize conversations about emotions. Your mental health is important. You are not alone.
