The leadership staff from our neighbor, Collins Aerospace came over and helped decorate Valentine cookies today. Then, they were so sweet to venture out and deliver the Valentine flower bouquets that were sent out from Country Garden. These were gifted by the flower shop and many kind donors.

We just want to say thank you. ❤️

Because of the generosity of our community, every resident at Wellington Place in Assisted Living, Memory Support, and Skilled Nursing received a flower for Valentine’s Day.

It may seem like a small thing, but it truly meant so much. There were big smiles, a few happy tears, and lots of “These are beautiful!” heard throughout the day. Most of all, our residents felt remembered and cared for.

A big thank you to The Country Garden Flowers and Gifts Decorah IA for organizing this. Your kindness does not go unnoticed.

And lastly, thank you for making sure each of our people had something special to hold and enjoy. Your kindness made a difference, and we are so grateful to be part of such a thoughtful community. 🌸

Happy Work Anniversary,

Grace Watson has worked at Wellington Place for the past three years, starting as a CNA, receiving her LPN and wrapping up her RN. During this time, she has consistently provided compassionate, reliable care and has been a valued member of the nursing team.

We appreciate all she does and thank her for her continued service.

We spent some sweet time together making Valentine sun catchers. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers and family members that came and had some crafting fun with us.

Earlier this week we played some beach ball volleyball and topped it off with a concert from Tim the music man! Two of our favorites, I hope all of you had some fun this week too.

Kudos for Caring" is a program that allows co-workers to recognize each other for going above and beyond. The Kudos for Caring recognitions are posted on the bulletin board near the dining room. Each month a winner is drawn from those recognized.

Congratulations to Heidi Reed on celebrating 4 years at Wellington Place! Over the past four years, Heidi has made a meaningful contribution serving as both MDS Coordinator and ADON, bringing dedication and leadership. We appreciate all she does and thank her for her continued service.
