Last Thursday (March 5), we celebrated our annual staff party with a Chinese New Year: Year of the Fire Horse theme! 🐉🔥

The evening was filled with arcade games, great food, and plenty of laughs as teams competed in a fun team-building challenge to design and build their own Chinese dragon. Once the masterpieces were complete, we paraded our dragons through the bowling alley and voted for the best one! 🐲

We wrapped up the night with staff prize drawings to thank our amazing team for everything they do throughout the year.

A special thank you to King Pin Entertainment Center for hosting us and helping make it such a fun and memorable evening. 🎳

We’re grateful for such a fun, creative, and dedicated team here at The Highlands!

Shea said she used to care for her Grandmother and working with the elderly scared her at first, but 19 years later, her she is still loving it! She enjoys getting to know each and every resident and hearing their stories, learning about their backgrounds and giving them the best care they deserve. “This career is very rewarding, but also very humbling.” Shea has worked in multiple long term care facilities, which has given her some of the best friends! She also gave the staff and management here at The Highlands high praises for their teamwork and communication!
