Our seniors enjoyed a lovely luncheon at the Inn at Bay Point on the water in Quincy, taking in the beautiful views. It was a relaxing afternoon filled with great food, conversation, and plenty of holiday cheer. A perfect way to continue celebrating the season with friends!

We were delighted to welcome our friends from Blessed Sacrament School as the kindergarteners filled the Community Room here at Traditions with joyful songs and holiday spirit – The students even wrote cards and brought gifts, making it a truly heartwarming and memorable visit!

Our first night of Hanukkah brought together a large crowd of residents to learn about the traditions of the holiday and share in its meaning. The prayers were beautifully led by resident Amy, who guided us through the blessing and explanations with warmth and grace. She also sang in traditional Hebrew as the candles were lit, making the ceremony meaningful and memorable! 🕎

Nothing says the holidays like the smell of baked goods and the look of festive sweaters. Residents spent their morning learning about the history of mincemeat pies and making their own tasty tartlets to enjoy during the resident & associate Yankee Swap. Laughs, smiles, and a bit of eggnog made for a truly spirited gathering! 🥧

The halls were decked for our resident and family holiday party! Festive decor, live music, delicious food, passed appetizers, pastries, and cocktails made for a joyful evening. Smiles, laughter, and merry-making were in abundance as we celebrated together. A heartfelt thank you to Chef Bill and our incredible culinary team for creating such a delicious meal for this special day! 🎄

We had a wonderful time joining our friends at the Dedham Council on Aging for their annual Holiday Luncheon at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. A lively jazz trio, dancing, cocktails, and delicious food made the afternoon sparkle. The ballroom was filled with laughter and smiles as we celebrated the season together. Thank you to our Dedham COA!

Our community was buzzing with holiday happenings this weekend - from a comforting visit with a service dog, Charlie, along with beautiful Christmas entertainment, to lively reindeer games and cards. To add to the festivities, our local Knights of Columbus chapter stopped in to fill our Saturday night with joyful caroling and warm seasonal cheer. Thank you to our friends in the greater community who make our days so special.

The spirit of giving was in the air as our residents enjoyed our festive Holiday Bazaar and shopped for loved ones in the comfort of the community! Christmas decor, jewelry, and a wide array of unique gifts made the afternoon sparkle with seasonal cheer. We wrapped up the week with a gingerbread house decorating class, with masterpieces ready for judging at our holiday party next week.
