Not sure what to expect?

Chi gong falls under the umbrella of traditional Chinese medicine, like acupuncture does. It’s an ancient Chinese practice that combines movement, meditation, and controlled breathing to cultivate and balance the body's vital energy, known as "qi" or "chi."

Qigong (or chi gong) is often practiced as a form of preventive healthcare, stress reduction, and self-healing, with its benefits extending to improved flexibility, strength, and emotional resilience.

Through gentle movements, breathwork and mindfulness practices, you'll tap into your body's innate energy flow, promoting physical vitality, mental clarity, and emotional wellbeing.

I’ll be teaching you the power of vibrational shaking, tapping, meridian massage and more to unlock stagnant energy and promote deep relaxation.

❓What’s the best way to stay on track with my fitness plan/healthy lifestyle?

I have a multi-part answer to this question, to help you set yourself up for SUCCESS!

Let’s dive right in:

Make sure the changes you’re making have REAL meaning to you – and that you’re excited to feel the payoffs of those changes!
Have an action plan that works with your lifestyle – so you know what to do and when to do it. (A coach can be a tremendous asset.)
Don’t do too much, too soon.
Have realistic expectations (i.e., losing 4 sizes in 4 weeks = not realistic).
Set performance goals (vs. using the scale or other metric outside your direct control): i.e., X number of workouts a week, X servings of vegetables, X minutes of meditation.
Get support. Having a cheerleader/drill sergeant/master planner/hand-holder/troubleshooter will help you find the fastest, most rewarding path to your goals. (Again: A coach is a huge resource here.)

🤔 You need a lot of discipline to live a healthy lifestyle.

🔥MYTH🔥

So many times people tell me they can’t “stick” with a healthy lifestyle because they believe they don’t have the willpower or discipline.

It’s true: some days it can take a bit of self-control to eat your veggies instead of cookies or chips.

But here’s something worth thinking about:

If you get up regularly every morning, have a job, floss your teeth, pay your bills, and do all of the other “adulting” things …

YOU ALREADY HAVE DISCIPLINE and SELF-CONTROL.

What it DOES take is thinking about things differently …

And being EXCITED & COMMITTED to the payoffs (rather than the immediate payoff):

Feeling better
Having more energy
Being more confident
Feeling happier
Knowing you can count on yourself to take action!

One of the best ways to build that excitement and commitment is to make healthy changes ONE STEP AT A TIME …

So you don’t get overwhelmed or have to white-knuckle a total lifestyle change.

That way you get to feel and see firsthand the PAYOFFS of your actions.

Which is one huge factor in turning those habits into something you actually WANT to do, vs. something you “HAVE” to do.

It also helps you get back on track ASAP if you slip (intentionally or unintentionally) from your new-normal healthy routine.

(And bonus: when you do it long enough … your actions turn into habits which makes them even EASIER to do.)
