A quiet reminder that even in moments of loss, there is still beauty, love, and the gentle presence of hope.

On this St. Patrick’s Day, we’re thinking of the love, memories, and blessings that stay with us always—like a clover, simple, meaningful, and deeply cherished.

We are honored to help you celebrate those lives and hold space for the memories that will never fade.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

Our community has an opportunity to help in a meaningful way.

On March 2, 73 rabbits arrived at the Babylon Animal Shelter, and the shelter is urgently seeking support from the community to help care for them.

They are currently in need of fresh leafy greens, including kale, collard greens, spinach, romaine lettuce, escarole, mustard greens, and turnip greens.

The shelter is also looking for foster homes to help provide temporary care for these rabbits while permanent solutions are arranged. If you or someone you know may be interested in fostering, please reach out to the shelter directly.

We are honored to support the LI Pizza Strong fundraiser, coming together as a community to show love and support during an incredibly difficult time.

Today, we were proud to send pizzas to the Suffolk County Police Department First Precinct, the North Babylon Fire Co Headquarters and the Dix Hills Fire District as a small thank you for the dedication, courage, and sacrifice these men and women show every day in service to our community.

Officer Espinosa was simply heading to work to do what she had committed her life to — protecting others — when her life was tragically taken. Our hope is that this fundraiser helps support her family and reminds them that they are surrounded by the strength, compassion, and unity of this beautiful Long Island community we are all proud to call home.

We stand together in gratitude, remembrance, and support.

Below is a photo of the three huge boxes of toys we helped collect for the third year in a row for the Sunshine Toy Drive through the Dix Hills Fire Department, as well as the Gerald Ryan Outreach Center.

The Sunshine Toy Drive began with a fourth grader who simply wanted to make sure every child could feel the joy of the holiday season. Today, this incredible effort delivers toys to over 1,000 Long Island families, bringing smiles to so many little faces each year.

To everyone who donated toys or contributed financially—thank you. We have an additional $600 in toys arriving in the next few days, making this our biggest and most successful year yet. Your kindness truly made a difference in a child’s life. It really does take a village.

From all of us at Claude R. Boyd – Caratozzolo Funeral Home, we wish you and your families a very Happy Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.

Thanksgiving can look different for every family, and our hearts are especially with those who are feeling the weight of an empty seat at the table this year.

To everyone grieving a recent loss, missing someone deeply, or spending this holiday more quietly than years past — please know you are not alone. We’re holding space for you today.

And to those spending Thanksgiving independently, in reflection, or simply doing the best you can right now, we’re sending you comfort and strength.

From all of us at Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, we wish you peace, gentleness, and moments of warmth throughout the day, in whatever way you spend it.

Wishing a heartfelt Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who give their love so generously.

Today we also pause to remember the fathers who are no longer with us—those whose guidance, laughter, and love still echo in our lives.

May today be filled with cherished memories, gentle moments, and the comfort of knowing that love never leaves us.

We had the pleasure of visiting the North Babylon Food Pantry Garden to drop off some plants they needed to grow. 🌿

It’s a beautiful thing to see a space where people come together to dig in, connect, and grow nourishment for their community. We’re grateful to play even a small part—and we can’t wait to get our hands in the soil next time! 💚
