Great Question! We're so glad you asked!

It depends on the person. We have had babies refuse to keep their glasses on so mom would put contacts in their eyes. Most of the time teens around 12 are mature enough to properly take care of contact lenses themselves. If you are unsure if your kiddo is ready but they are showing interest, bring them in for a contact lens training. We will take time to teach them proper usage and care. We also practice with them to make sure they are comfortable putting them in and taking them out.
