The playoffs are here, but not like you’ve ever seen them before. 🏈🔬

This season, Cell Science Systems brings the intensity of football playoffs from the field to the cellular level. Welcome to the **Ultimate Supplement Bowl**! We’ve replaced the teams with the very vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants your body depends on. The bracket follows the real-life city matchups, but the play-by-plays are all about biochemistry.

It’s a fun way to explore how these essential nutrients interact—insights we discover every day with our Cellular Nutrition Assay.

Here’s how the opening weekend went down:

Denver D3 vs. Buffalo Magnesium: An absolute thriller that went into overtime. Magnesium did its job regulating D3 all game, but as the clock wound down, the D3s managed to shine, kicking a game-winning field goal to advance in the Micronutrient Division.

Seattle Selenium vs. San Francisco Glutathione: A powerhouse performance from Seattle Selenium, which dominated from the opening kickoff. By fueling crucial antioxidant enzymes, Selenium controlled the game’s tempo, leaving San Francisco Glutathione unable to mount a comeback.

New England Folates vs. Houston B1s: New England’s disciplined and steady strategy paid off. As metabolic pressure increased, the Houston B1s (Thiamine) couldn’t keep up. A late turnover, highlighting Folate’s critical role in methylation, secured the victory for the Folates.

Los Angeles Pomegranate vs. Chicago Cobalamin B12: In another overtime nail-biter, L.A. Pomegranate clinched the win. After a late rally from Chicago Cobalamin B12 to force OT, Pomegranate made the decisive play when oxidative stress was at its peak, earning MVP honors in the Antioxidant Division.

Stay tuned to see which nutrient has what it takes to be crowned champion! Reply to us and ask how our Cellular Nutrition Assay can help you personalize supplement ingredients for each unique patient.

If you’re at A4M this week, make sure Booth 2090 is on your path.

Cell Science Systems has spent decades advancing innovative functional nutrition testing—helping clinicians move beyond symptom-based care and into cellular-level evaluation. Our testing, including the Alcat Test, Cellular Nutrition Assay, and Genomic Insights panels, are designed to identify food and chemical related immune reactions, nutrient insufficiencies and genetic predispositions that influence inflammation, metabolism, detoxification, and overall patient resilience. We also offer telomere length assessment.

This data lets you personalize interventions with confidence—backed by science and clinical experience.

Stop by booth 2090 to ask about our A4M-practitioner evaluation offer and learn how to implement our unique Cell Science functional lab tests in your practice.

Clinicians know aging starts at the cellular level. Telomere shortening is a key biomarker of accelerated aging and is linked to cardiovascular, metabolic, neurodegenerative, and inflammatory diseases.

Cell Science Systems’ Telomere Length Test provides:
✅ Clear, age-matched reporting for patients
✅ Early detection of accelerated cellular aging
✅ qRT-PCR measurement of telomere length

Use this test as a tool to guide preventive and lifestyle interventions that help protect your patients’ healthspan.

🩺 From Symptoms to Solutions: Take Care to the Next Level

Patients with persistent GI issues often face a long journey of trial-and-error treatments—delayed relief, uncertainty, and ongoing discomfort. The Celiac, IBS, Crohn’s Array (CICA) changes that by assessing genetic, antibody, and immune cell biomarkers to pinpoint the underlying pathways driving symptoms.

CICA helps providers:
✅ Identify predispositions for celiac disease, IBS, and Crohn’s
✅ Detect immune dysregulation early
✅ Tailor patient management based on actionable insights

Move beyond guesswork and empower your patients with clarity, early intervention, and personalized GI care.

As the seasons change, so do patients’ needs. Just like nature resets in the fall, it’s the perfect time to help patients restore balance at the cellular level—starting with methylation.

Methylation is central to:
🔹 Detoxification & glutathione production
🔹 DNA repair & cellular resilience
🔹 Neurotransmitter balance & mental health

Yet, an estimated 50% of patients carry genetic variations (in genes like MTHFR, MTR, MTRR, COMT, and AHCY) that can compromise these processes [1]. Left unchecked, impaired methylation is linked to cardiovascular risk, cognitive decline, mood disorders, and reduced detox capacity.

The MethylDetox Profile from Cell Science Systems gives you actionable insights—going beyond MTHFR alone. With clear reporting, supplement guidance, and homocysteine monitoring, you can personalize protocols and guide patients back to balance this season.

🍁 Equip your practice with the MethylDetox Profile—because balance starts with methylation.

Happy ☕️ ! Coffee is more than a pick-me-up — it interacts with methylation pathways in ways that can impact health outcomes. Celebrate with our educational infographic showing how a cup o’ Joe effects methylation.

🧬Epigenetic impact: Studies show habitual coffee intake alters DNA methylation at multiple sites linked to inflammation and metabolic regulation.

🛑The COMT factor: Coffee’s polyphenols are metabolized via COMT. Reduced COMT activity (the Val108/158Met variant) means slower clearance, higher SAH levels, and potential inhibition of DNA methylation.

🧪Why it matters: The same daily cup can affect patients differently depending on genetic variants in methylation genes.

The MethylDetox Profile from Cell Science Systems helps you identify these variants, offering insight into how lifestyle factors — like coffee consumption — may uniquely influence methylation and patient outcomes.
