Ideas for Empowering Yourself to Read Auras
Integrating Reiki into your practice can gently enhance your ability to sense and perceive your aura. This beautiful energy technique supports relaxation, clarity, and healing, working with the same life force energy that flows through your entire energetic field.
When you consciously connect with this energy, you’re not just observing your aura… you’re awakening your awareness of it.
1. Create Your Space & Set Your Intention
Find a quiet, peaceful space with soft lighting. Sit comfortably and take a few slow, grounding breaths.
Set a clear intention from the heart. You might say:
“I open to the flow of energy and allow myself to clearly perceive my energetic field for my highest good.”
2. Invite the Energy Flow
Gently shake out your hands to release any tension.
Bring your hands into a prayer position at your heart center.
Visualize a soft stream of white or golden light entering through your crown and flowing down into your hands.
You may begin to feel warmth, tingling, or a subtle magnetic sensation; trust whatever arises.
3. Extend Energy Through Your Hands
Hold your hands in front of you against a neutral background.
Soften your gaze and allow your eyes to relax.
Gently direct the energy from your palms through to your fingertips.
As the energy flows, you may begin to notice a soft glow, mist, or subtle haze forming—often more quickly and vividly as your energy becomes more active.
4. Feel and Observe the Energy
Slowly move your hands closer together and then slightly apart.
Bring your awareness to the sensations between your palms.
Notice any gentle push, pull, or resistance.
At the same time, observe any shifts in light, color, or intensity within your field.
5. Ground and Close Your Practice
When you are complete, take a moment to ground yourself.
Place your hands on the floor, your legs, or gently touch your toes.
Offer gratitude for the experience and the flow of energy.
This helps you return to a balanced, centered state so you can move through your day feeling clear and supported.
