CHP Rays of Hope Camp is July 22-24 at Camp Lakota, BSAC for kids ages 6-17 who've experienced loss. This is a day-camp that meets daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and includes fun activities to help kids better understand loss and grief, connect with others, and learn creative ways to express thoughts and feelings. The CHP Hospice "Beacon of Hope" dinner and charity auction on May 2 exceeded its fundraising goal!! Held at Defiance’s K of C Hall, the sold-out event marked a 50-year milestone for CHP. With support from the community, sponsors and volunteers, more than $30,000 was raised for the hospice patient care fund, ensuring that local patients and families continue receiving essential hospice services.
