We're so excited to announce, Wellspring Fitness Co. is open to the public! Our mission is simple, to be a life-giving fitness community rooted in faith, movement, and belonging.

Memberships to Wellspring Fitness Co. include access to all gym equipment, as well as cycling and strength classes. We also house Black Market BJJ, where they offer martial arts such as Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, wrestling, kickboxing, and MMA.

🐾 BIG NEWS for Dogs in Defiance County - OPERATION PAWS! 🐾

We’re incredibly grateful to share that Fort Defiance Humane Society has received a grant from Humane World for Animals (formerly the Humane Society of the United States) to provide approximately 50 dog houses to dogs in need right here in Defiance County. 💙

While we do not promote keeping dogs outside for extended periods of time, these houses are designed to provide extra warmth and protection when dogs are outside. These houses will offer safe, weather-appropriate shelter for dogs who currently lack adequate protection from the elements while outdoors. They will also come with door flaps and bedding.

To ensure these resources reach dogs who truly need them, distribution will be done through a request process and considered based on factors such as their current shelter situation.

• Requests are limited to Defiance County residents

at 419-658-2298 during business hours (11am-4pm M-F), or PM us on our page with your contact information. Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange next steps, which may include a site visit, assembly, and delivery.

This grant means warmer, safer winters for dozens of dogs in our community — and we couldn’t be more thankful for the support that makes programs like this possible. Thank you for helping us care for animals right here at home 🐾💙
