March 1st is Self-Injury Awareness Day (SIAD). 🧡 This is a day dedicated to shining a light on a subject that is far too often overshadowed by stigma and misconception.

By increasing awareness and understanding, we can create a safer environment for those struggling to reach out for help without fear of judgment. At the Illinois Counseling Association, we are committed to providing the resources and support necessary to guide individuals toward healthy coping mechanisms and healing.

If you or someone you know is struggling, remember that you are not alone. Help is always available.
