Our Resilience Rising program is still underway - including our Rural Resilience Studio, a monthly series of creative, reflective workshops hosted in partnership with The Church Project in Monte Vista.

Each session invites participants to slow down, explore creativity, and connect—with themselves and with one another. Workshops are facilitated by local and regional artists and offer accessible entry points into storytelling, reflection, and mental wellness through art.

Join us in March (and monthly through May)! No art experience required, just curiosity and an open mind. We can’t wait to create with you!

😎 Smooth vibes, good energy, and a whole lot of gratitude. 👂

This week, the Wellness Center had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Cathy Di Maggio for her very first visit—and Wow, did our community show up. About 31 folks settled in, leaned back, and trusted the process (yes, even with a few tiny needles in their ears 😌).

Cathy brings the art of ear (auricular) acupuncture—a gentle, non-invasive holistic therapy that works with specific points on the outer ear to help support balance, healing, and overall well-being. Calm rooms, open minds, and a collective exhale… that’s our kind of Friday.

We’re incredibly thankful for a community that’s curious, supportive, and always willing to try something new. The plan is still coming together, but let’s just say—you may be seeing a lot more Cathy around the Wellness Center, especially on Fridays. Better keep your EAR to the ground for more info...

Join us as Cathy Di Maggio introduces ear acupuncture (also known as auricular acupuncture), a gentle and non-invasive holistic therapy that uses specific points on the outer ear to support healing and balance in the body.

The ear is viewed as a map of the entire body. By stimulating certain points using tiny needles, ear seeds, or gentle pressure, practitioners may help influence the brain and nervous system—supporting overall wellness.
