Back in 2019, this article welcomed us to the wonderful community of Del Rio as the new faces behind Galo Eye Care Centers. We were just beginning a dream to bring compassionate, quality eye care to this rural Texas town.

Fast forward to today — we’ve grown, learned, and now stepped into a beautiful new space that reflects how far this dream has come. None of this would be possible without the trust and support of our amazing patients, community, and team.

So here is to every patient who trusted us, every friend who supported us, and every team member who helped us grow. This new chapter isn’t just about expansion — it’s about continuing to serve you better.

Today marks two years since the heartbreaking tragedy at Robb Elementary School. As we pause to remember the lives lost and the families forever changed, we stand united in grief and solidarity. Our thoughts are with the parents, siblings, friends, and community members of Uvalde, who continue to bear the weight of this unimaginable loss. Let us honor their memory by fostering a world where kindness, empathy, and safety prevail. We must never forget, and we must continue to strive for a future where such tragedies are a thing of the past.
