Val Verde Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

We provide short and long-term skilled nursing care that helps older adults achieve true wellness. We are a non-profit, and that’s an important difference.

Our focus is on strengthening the families and communities we care for. Post-operative care, Wound Care, IV Therapy, and an in-house rehabilitation team are some services that make our facility different. Unlike others who contract their therapists, we have an in-house therapy team. This means our goal is to have patients and residents see the same occupational, speech, or physical therapists daily, which builds a strong line of trust and rapport.

Last week, team members put their bravery to the test in a hilarious game of trust! Volunteers sat down with a cup balanced on their head while patients and residents took careful aim — pool noodle in hand — to swat it off. 💥

Let's just say those cups didn't stand a chance! Lots of laughs and great teamwork! Thank you to our team members for making this fun activity possible! 💙

Lights, camera, action! 🍿🎬 This week, residents enjoyed a big-screen adventure with a trip to the movie theatre to watch Zootopia 2! From laughs to popcorn moments, it was a paws-itively great time getting out and enjoying the show together.

And the best part? We had the whole theatre to ourselves — total VIP treatment! ✨
