Frank Robert "Robby" Centilli, III, age 52, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2026, while surrounded by his loving family, here in Del Rio. He was born on August 21, 1973 in Del Rio.

Robby was born in Del Rio, where he spent his entire life, deeply rooted in the community he loved. He graduated from Del Rio High School in 1991 and received his Business Management Associates Degree in 1994, carrying with him lifelong friendships and cherished memories.

Music was woven into Robby’s life from an early age. As a young man, he played trombone in the Mighty Ram Band and listened to 80’s rock. That passion later grew into a calling as he led worship at Northside Baptist Church. Singing with the praise team was where Robby found peace, joy, and a deep connection to his faith.

Robby loved sports and spending time with his family. His childhood home was the setting for many spirited games of wiffle ball and football, while Fall Sundays and Thanksgivings were reserved for a treasured tradition—watching the Dallas Cowboys with those he loved most. Known for his neat penmanship, he was always the designated scorekeeper for card games and dominoes. Hosting family cookouts brought many afternoons of laughter and joy.

For more than 20 years, Robby worked in the medical equipment field, where his dedication was unmatched. No one cared more deeply about serving patients and providers than he did. He worked long hours, weekends, and holidays, always bringing compassion, patience, and a positive attitude to his work.

Everyone who knew Robby knew his sense of humor. He could never resist making a joke—no matter the circumstances—and his laughter brought light and comfort to those around him.

Above all, Robby loved God and lived a life grounded in faith in Jesus Christ. That faith guided how he loved his family. He was devoted to his wife Elsa for over 32 years and he always put his children's needs first. His parents and siblings knew without question that they could count on him whenever they were in need.

Robby’s love, faith, and humor leave a lasting legacy. He will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Frank Robert Centilli, Sr. and Elizabeth Julia "Betty" Centilli; and maternal grandparents, Pablo Hinojosa and Sylvia C. Hinojosa;

Family members left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 32 years, Elsa Centilli of Del Rio; children: Robbie Marie Centilli and Frank Robert "Bobby" Centilli IV, both of Del Rio; parents, Frank Robert Centilli, Jr. and Josefina C. "Josie" Centilli, of Del Rio; siblings: Joshua A. Centilli and wife Nynell A. Centilli of Del Rio, Hope E. Dunlap and husband Ryan A. Dunlap of Del Rio, and Paul E. Centilli of Lubbock, Texas; nephews/nieces: Kenya I. Ramos, Karen J. Young (Erick E.), Grayson R. Dunlap, Ezra N. Centilli, Noah A. Centilli, Cindy J. Dunlap, and Camille R. Dunlap; grand nephew, Andrew J. Garcia; Robby is also survived by many aunts, uncles, in-laws, friends, colleagues, and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Faith. Songs of praise will begin at 7 p.m.

A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church, located at 1100 Amistad Blvd. Officiating will be Pastor RG Murray.

01/31/2026

Perry Michael Baker, a lifelong steward of Texas ranching heritage, was born on September 28, 1937, at Bakers Crossing in Val Verde County, Texas. He was a fifth-generation descendant of David and Lizzie Baker, who first settled the area in 1881. From that time forward, the Baker family ranched along the beautiful Devils River—a legacy Michael deeply honored and upheld throughout his life.

Raised on the land that shaped generations before him, Michael developed a strong work ethic, a deep respect for tradition, and an abiding love for the rugged beauty of West Texas. He was riding horses by the time he could walk and milking cows by the age of five. His first schoolteacher was a cousin who lived on a nearby ranch. He later attended schools in Comstock and Del Rio and spent his senior year at Jefferson High School in San Antonio.

Michael attended Texas A&M University and Sul Ross State University, where he earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. After graduating, he began his career teaching high school in the old San Felipe School District. Many of his students were close to his own age and later became lifelong friends. He also worked in the Del Rio school district.

A man of many talents and interests, Michael was not only a rancher and educator but also a pilot, a builder, and anything else he set his mind to do. Whatever he did, he did well. He loved books, Texas, and history. His personal library included many rare and first-edition books on West Texas and the surrounding area, and he read constantly. Known as the local historian, he served as president of the historical society.

The Devils River country was more than a home—it was part of who he was, and he carried that pride with him always. Michael was known for his quiet strength, generosity, humor, and unwavering commitment to family and heritage. He took great pride in the Baker name and in the responsibility of preserving the land and values entrusted to him.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Perry and Arlene Baker; his brother, John Norman Baker; and his sister, Judith Lake Baker.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Georgia Phyllis Baker; his sons, Benjamin Michael Baker and John Wesley Baker; and his grandchildren, Emily Baker, Benjamin Samuel Baker, and Daniel Michael Baker; his sister, Molly Lorentzen and her spouse Ed, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Michael Baker’s legacy lives on in the land he protected, the history he preserved, and the family he loved—an enduring testament to a life well lived and faithfully stewarded.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Faith.

A funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Jose.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Trinity Mortuary, 206 Kings Way, Del Rio, Texas (830) 775-2230.
