November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month 💙

At Val Verde Regional Medical Center, we’re joining the fight against lung cancer — the leading cause of cancer deaths in both men and women. Early detection saves lives, and awareness is the first step.

✅ Know the signs: Persistent cough, chest pain, shortness of breath, or unexplained weight loss.
✅ Get screened: Ask your provider about low-dose CT scans for early detection.
✅ Take action: Quitting smoking and regular checkups can make all the difference.

This month, we honor the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and support everyone affected by lung cancer. Together, we can breathe easier and build a healthier future.
