It is summer in Wisconsin, which means its road construction season! There are a few upcoming projects that may result in delays or detours over the next couple weeks.

1. Bridge Rehabilitation WIS 83 over Mukwonago River. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will be closing WIS 83 over the Mukwonago River on Monday July 20th for approximately three weeks to complete bridge deck repairs. Through traffic will be detoured along Holz Parkway and E. Veterans Way.

2. WIS 83 from WIS 59 to Perkins Road in the town of Genesee starting July 14th. With the exception of one full closure of WIS 83 taking place July 18th and 19th, the roadway will remain open with flagging operations throughout the duration of the project. Detour during full closure: Northbound WIS 83 detour: WIS 59 southwest, County E north, County D east. Southbound WIS 83 detour: County D west, County E south, WIS 59 northeast.
