Have you ever noticed how your body feels different when the seasons change? Spring may bring allergies, summer can bring heat and inflammation, autumn dryness, and winter congestion and fatigue.

In Asian Medicine, each season affects the body differently. Acupuncture helps regulate the nervous system and supports the body’s ability to adapt to environmental changes. Instead of waiting until symptoms become intense, seasonal care can help keep things balanced.

If your body feels “off” as the weather shifts, now is a good time for a seasonal tune-up. Call 3867344126 to schedule!

Happy Wednesday!

How are you feeling halfway through the week? If your shoulders are a little tight, your mind is a little busy, or your energy isn’t quite where you want it to be, this is your gentle reminder that you don’t have to push through it.

Midweek is actually one of the best times to come in. A treatment can help you feel refreshed, clear-headed, and ready to move into the rest of your week with more ease. Think of it as a reset button.

A little time on the table can go a long way toward better sleep, better focus, and a lighter mood. If you’ve been meaning to schedule, today is a great day to call. We would love to see you and help you finish the week feeling your best.

Tinnitus Part 1: Why Does Tinnitus Happen?

Ringing in the ears rarely shows up without a reason.

For some people it begins after loud noise exposure. For others it starts during a stressful season of life. Sometimes it appears alongside jaw tension, neck tightness, or sleep changes.

In Asian Medicine, the ears are closely connected to the Kidneys, Liver, and the overall nervous system. When the body is depleted, overstimulated, or not circulating well, symptoms can rise upward into the head.

Stress alone can tighten the muscles around the jaw and neck, restrict circulation, and heighten awareness of internal sound. Once the nervous system becomes irritated, the ringing can feel louder.

Tinnitus is often the body’s signal that something is out of balance.

The good news is that balance can be supported.

Ringing in Your Ears?

A soft buzz. A high-pitched ring. A humming that never quite goes away.

If you’re experiencing tinnitus, you know it’s not just “a little noise.” It can affect your focus, your sleep, your mood, and your overall sense of calm. For some people it’s constant. For others it comes and goes. Either way, it can be exhausting.

Tinnitus is the perception of sound without an external source. It may show up as ringing, buzzing, clicking, whooshing, or even a pulsing sound. While it’s commonly associated with hearing changes, it’s often connected to tension patterns in the neck and jaw, stress levels, circulation, and nervous system imbalance.

Many people are told they simply have to live with it but we look at it differently. Over the next few posts, we’ll talk about why tinnitus happens and how acupuncture may support the body in calming the system and improving overall balance. If ringing in your ears has been quietly bothering you, you’re not alone.
