Please join us on Sunday, February 16th for our "Come to Your Census" Day!

At 1:00 pm in the Classroom, Pete Harrington will present "The U.S. Census"

At 2:00 pm, after a short business meeting, Clyde and Kathy Stickney will be presenting "Establishing Relationships Prior to the 1880 Census" in the Auditorium.

Reminder: 2020 Membership Dues are being collected. Individual membership $20 per year. Family membership $25 per year.

We currently have an open position for Secretary on the Roots and Branches Board and looking for someone that would be responsible for taking minutes at the General Meeting and Board Meeting. "Genealogy for Beginners" Class will be taught by Jack Crahan. Class will be held every Tuesday in March (3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st )from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the DeLand Library Classroom. The Class is free and supplies provided but registration is limited. There are only a couple of spaces left so if you are interested, please go to https://volusialibrary.org and sign up under the Calendar tab by finding the March 3rd class in DeLand.
