This afternoon, we held our annual Celebration of Life memorial service. Chaplin Kevin ran a beautiful service for residents, staff, and families alike. It was a wonderful way to come together and remember those weโ€™ve lost over this past year. We were lucky enough to have Lake Rose Strings Violin duet to play for us. Their music was much appreciated! ๐ŸŽป

We had a BUSY day here at the Legacy!! We started off our morning with a wonderful and energetic performance from the Delano Elementary 3rd grade choir. We were able to share cookies and musicโ€” what a performance it was! ๐ŸŽน
We followed up with Skylar the golden retriever visiting our memory care residents. It was her first day as an official therapy dog and she did amazing! She gave lots of love to our residents and thatโ€™s what we love to see!๐Ÿถ
Finally, before weekly prize bingo, we were lucky enough to have Ted from the Alzheimer's Association speak to us regarding Alzheimerโ€™s and dementia. It was packed full of great information and resourcesโ€” the work this association does is inspiring!๐ŸŽ†
