We have made a nice batch of tallow this week!

All whipped tallow and tallow balms are $22 a jar, which is $10 less per jar than our website!!!

Plain Jane: Whipped tallow balm for sensitive skin, or baby diaper rashes. Unscented

Flower Patch: Made for the ladies! So many lotions for women are made with toxic, cancer causing chemicals. This tallow balm is made with our grass finished tallow from our cattle, local honey from down the road in Schoharie County, organic vanilla, and flower scent!

Frankincense & Myrrh Balm: A biblical oil scented tallow great for men and women. Great for mens hair styling, or general purpose lotion.

These are all toxin free products, with zero carcinogens!

Quick update!

The farm stand has minimal stock as this is the slowest 3 months of the season.

This time of the year we focus on bulk orders to keep us going and we plan to be at local farmers markets in the future winters as we grow our herd!

We have packages availible for 5lbs+ of ground beef, eggs, and lard and tallow products.

We also work with families that have a certain budget and always can make a custom package up just message us!!!

Hey y’all! With so many new faces here, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself. I’m Allie, the owner, grower, and designer behind Sweet Dahlia Farm & Florals.

My husband and I own an old 20-acre farm just outside of Esperance, NY, which we purchased mid-pandemic in 2020. I’m a SUNY Cobleskill graduate with a degree in horticulture and nearly a decade of experience in the floral industry, including several years working for a local florist where I discovered my love for wedding design. Throughout high school and college, I also worked on a few local flower and vegetable farms. After graduating, I spent the next six years in the banking industry while continuing to nurture my passion for flowers and gardening alongside my career.

Sweet Dahlia Farm & Florals unintentionally began in 2021 more or less as a passion project, starting with a single zinnia cutting garden and a small roadside stand that was originally intended for surplus vegetables from our garden. Since then, the business has grown into a full-service flower farm offering a variety of seasonal blooms, holiday decor, and has expanded into weddings and events over more recent years. In early 2025, I officially stepped away from my corporate career to focus on the business full time, allowing me to stay home with our daughter.

I truly love what I do and feel so grateful to have found my purpose in this work. It takes a lot of care and dedication, but seeing the joy it brings to others is incredibly rewarding. Knowing something I’ve poured so much of my heart into can brighten someone’s day makes all the early mornings and late (sometimes sleepless) nights worthwhile. At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: to bring beauty, joy, and a little light into people’s lives through flowers.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here and the continued love and support — I truly couldn’t do this without you. It means more to me and my family than I could ever put into words. 🤍
