We just dropped off our basket for the Home for the Holidays with Schultz raffle!

Our basket includes a cupping set, a massage gun, nail polish, a water bottle, a tote, a deluxe PediCare (at the FAAWC spa) , and a few other goodies! Stop by the event to participate in the raffle on December 13th and this loaded basket could be yours! 🥳

We filled Dr Porter’s car with 142 pounds of donations!

We are making a difference in our community to help it thrive, we are honored with all your care and support!

Going forward, a basket will be available in the clinic for continued donations. There is always a need!

We will be collecting items for People In Need, Inc. until November 21st! Starting Monday, we will have a box in the clinic for donations. Thank you all! ❤️

We are preparing for our largest Holiday Clearing House yet, and we need your help! We are looking for several holiday meal items, including boxed mashed potatoes, boxed stuffing, turkey gravy, canned yams, and breakfast muffin mixes. Donated items can be dropped off at the warehouse (138 Johnson Drive) Mon. - Thurs. 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Fri. 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Did you know that September 23rd is Fall Prevention Day?

Physical therapists can improve your balance and prevent falls. When you begin physical therapy, you will get screened for fall risk. If you’re at high risk for falls, we will provide exercises that safely and carefully challenge your balance as a way to mimic real-life situations. We can also help you with exercises to improve coordination and assistive devices to help with safer walking.

❤️‍🩹 Wellness Wednesday ❤️‍🩹

Did you know it is best to warmup before stretching? We recommend walking or biking for a minimum of 5 minutes before stretching.

In the beginning of a session in our clinic, we typically have patients start with a warm up of 8 minutes and then stretch for 2 sets of 1 minute holds.

Side note: Stretching might not be the cure for your flexibility issues. Sometimes, a muscle is tight due to weakness as a protection mechanism.
