Carolyn Stephens, LCSW
Carolyn, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has 20 plus years experience working with clients who are diverse in background, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, and nature of need. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Utilizing a strengths-based and holistic-centered approach, Carolyn has shown a sincere fondness and regard for people and their differences. Regardless of her therapeutic approach, Carolyn places the most value on the art of listening, speaking honestly and insightfully, while supporting and appreciating each individual.
Carolyn’s areas of expertise are: Relationships, addictions, Grief/Loss, Trauma/PTSD, GLBTQ Issues, Separation/Divorce, Domestic Violence, Depression, Anxiety/Fears, childhood issues, Spirituality, Mental Health issues, Dementia and Caregiving issues. She provide services to individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, painful transitions or traumatic changes such as loss, aging, parenting issues, divorce, illness or other chronic or sudden trauma. Carolyn’s focus is on helping individuals and couples learn more successful methods for addressing problems, resolving conflicts, improving relationships, and enhancing life satisfaction.
