SourcePoint: Thrive after 55

SourcePoint: Thrive after 55 Our mission is to help our Delaware County, Ohio community set a course to live well as they age. We provide free resources and support for family caregivers.

Because every donation counts...

Delaware County households used food pantry services over 38,000 times in 2024/2025. This is a 10% increase compared to the previous year. That is why we are teaming up with United Way of Delaware County Ohio, in the fight against hunger, and we invite YOU to join the cause 💪

This February, SourcePoint is a donation collection point for the Delaware County Hunger Alliance and local food pantries. Let's team up to show our love for our neighbors in need by filling our collection box to the brim! ❤️Please bring non-perishable food items, toiletries, and basic household supplies to the main lobby through the end of this month.

Thank you for supporting the cause and creating a lasting impact in the community.

SourcePoint Insurance Specialists and the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) have heard concerns that some beneficiaries who switched to the Wellcare Value Script Part D plan during open enrollment opted to have the $7.60 monthly premium deducted from their Social Security benefits. However, many were surprised to then receive a coupon book requesting payment, causing understandable confusion.

Wellcare has explained that January and February payments must be made via the coupon book, and the automatic deductions are expected to begin by March.

Beneficiaries should make a payment (creating a Wellcare online account if possible) and monitor their transactions, as any duplicate payments will be reimbursed by Wellcare.

It was recently brought to our attention that a SourcePoint member received a text from someone falsely claiming to be with SourcePoint. Fortunately, the member did not engage in the conversation and took the important step of verifying its authenticity with SourcePoint. Although this appears to be an isolated incident, it highlights the need for ongoing vigilance.

We are truly impressed by the impressionist paintings created by these SourcePointers!🎨🖌

Led by Imani Burke, our Arts & Education Specialist, art participants immersed themselves in the sun-dappled world of Impressionism. They learned to see like Monet, paint like Renoir, and break all the rules like Degas. Participants explored plein air painting, optical color mixing, and alla prima techniques, capturing mood, motion, and moments in time.
