Congratulations to our 23 nationally certified ECG Technicians! 🎉🩺💙

We are incredibly proud of this outstanding group of students and the dedication, focus, and hard work they have shown throughout the certification process. Our senior group has been amazing, continuing to set a strong example through their leadership, commitment, and accomplishments within the Health Science Education Program.

This junior class has now made Mingo Central history as the first junior class to complete ECG Technician certification here at Mingo Central — a milestone that reflects just how much our program continues to grow.

Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Jude are extremely proud of these students and all they are accomplishing as they prepare for future healthcare careers. Their success represents determination, excellence, and the bright future of healthcare in our community.

❤️ Making a Difference, One Donation at a Time! ❤️

On Thursday, March 5, Central Clinic and Mingo Central HOSA proudly hosted the final blood drive of the school year, and our community showed up in an incredible way!

🩸 89 units of blood were collected during this critical time of need.✨ That means up to 267 lives could potentially be saved through the generosity of our donors.

We are especially grateful for the support of staff from Logan Regional Medical Center, the Logan County Emergency Ambulance Authority, and the Williamson Fire Department, along with our faithful returning donors, students, staff, and community members who came out to participate. Your commitment to serving others truly made this event a success.

👏 Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this life-saving mission. Together, we continue to make a powerful impact in our community!

Mingo Central High School is hosting a Blood Drive on March 5, 2026 from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM — and we need YOU!

There is currently an emergent need for blood, and one donation can save multiple lives. This is your chance to make a real impact in our community.

✨ Bonus: All successful donors will receive a $15 Amazon e-gift card emailed to them as a thank you!

The cardiac heart keeps the body alive — but Career & Technical Education (CTE) keeps the future of healthcare alive.

In our Health Science program at Mingo Central High School, students don’t just learn about the ❤️ — they learn how to protect it, assess it, and save lives. From CPR training to understanding electrical conduction and reading ECG rhythms, our students are building real-world skills that matter.

CTE isn’t just a class.
It’s a pathway.
It’s purpose.
It’s preparation for college, certifications, and careers that change lives.
