🩸❤️ Mingo Central Blood Drive – March 5, 2026 ❤️🩸

Mingo Central High School is hosting a Blood Drive on March 5, 2026 from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM — and we need YOU!

There is currently an emergent need for blood, and one donation can save multiple lives. This is your chance to make a real impact in our community.

✨ Bonus: All successful donors will receive a $15 Amazon e-gift card emailed to them as a thank you!

If all appointment slots are full, please reach out to this page and we will work to get you scheduled. We don’t want to turn away anyone willing to help!

Let’s show what Mingo Central can do when we come together. 💪

❤️🫀 This Valentine’s Day, We’re Celebrating the Heart — and the Heart of Healthcare! 🫀❤️

The cardiac heart keeps the body alive — but Career & Technical Education (CTE) keeps the future of healthcare alive.

In our Health Science program at Mingo Central High School, students don’t just learn about the ❤️ — they learn how to protect it, assess it, and save lives. From CPR training to understanding electrical conduction and reading ECG rhythms, our students are building real-world skills that matter.

CTE isn’t just a class.
It’s a pathway.
It’s purpose.
It’s preparation for college, certifications, and careers that change lives.

This Valentine’s Day, we LOVE what we do — and we love watching our students grow into the next generation of healthcare heroes. 💉🩺

Because when you invest in CTE…
you invest in the future of healthcare. ❤️

We loved welcoming our 8th graders from Gilbert Middle School for an exciting day exploring our CTE Health Science program! Students got hands-on with CPR, learned about the electrical conduction of the heart and how to perform an ECG, and explored human anatomy using zSpace interactive technology.

They also learned about HOSA leadership, teamwork, and career opportunities it provides for future healthcare professionals.

The students were engaged, curious, and had an amazing time—and we loved every minute of it! Days like this help spark interest and inspire the next generation of healthcare heroes. We can’t wait to see some of these students back at Mingo Central as future health science students! 💙

Join Our TEAM!

Some students walk into high school thinking about graduation.
Others walk in already thinking about what comes next.

In our Honors Health Science CTE program, students don’t just learn about healthcare — they experience it.
College-level coursework.
Real clinical environments.
Real patients.
Real expectations.

While still in high school, students earn dual credit through Marshall University and step into long-term and acute care facilities, gaining confidence, professionalism, and clarity about their future.

This isn’t for everyone.
It’s for students who are curious, motivated, and ready to challenge themselves — and for families who value purpose-driven education.

The future of healthcare starts earlier than you think. 🩺
