Vacation was a blast, so much fun playing in the snow!! Getting out, staying active during these cold months keeps me in a healthy mindset all year long!

Now back to business! Open M-F 8:15-4PM, and booking out into the end of March for new patient visits! It's good to be busy!!!

Heads up! If you are referred for physical therapy and would like to make an appointment with me, please please please call the office and leave me a message with your request for an appointment! 607-386-1440. This will be the fastest way for you to get a response from me and get your first visit scheduled. If you don't hear from me within a few days, please call again! I promise I'm not ignoring anyone, I'm simply busy treating patients during the day and then I play catch up when I get a rare moment to check my messages. While I'm actively looking to hire for office support, I'm not quite there yet, so bear with me while I still try to wear all the hats and juggle patient visits with all the front office (and back office) tasks that it takes to keep this clinic up and running! I love the support I've gotten from my patients so far in striking out on my own, and I look forward to serving this community for many more years to come!!!

It's getting tougher to even be "in-network" with insurances these days! So far I've been turned down by the following insurance programs, due to their network being closed to new provider enrollment:

1. Anthem BCBS
2. Emblem Health/GHI
3. VA - this one surprised me!

I get it, healthcare costs are skyrocketing (I won't get in to where all the money goes for those insanely high premiums we all pay into.....that's for another post on another day!) and these giant corporations have to find ways to manage costs.... but to eliminate patient choice (you get one clinic in town that can take your insurance, take it or leave it!)... and eliminate the option for healthy competition between skilled professionals (which, by the way, drives better quality care and patient outcomes)....ultimately the consumers of these plans end up getting the shaft. This is not the way healthcare should be.
