Plant Based Herbal Creams
Plant based creams are made with fresh and dried plant material. The plants are infused in oil and cooked for three days to extract all of the plant properties. Each plant has a unique function and is paired with an essential oil blend to help nourish the skin. Catskill Botanicals is a small business focused on wild harvested, fresh, local herbs for skin care products. Herbs are harvested in the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains. Fresh eucalyptus comes from California. Herbalist, Lauren Raba, started Catskill Botanicals to offer her line of plant based face and body creams that are designed to nourish the skin. Each cream is made with a different herb and a unique blend of essential oils that may help balance and restore skin cells. New research is showing that our skin has olfactory senses and that essential oils may have the ability to repair tissue. People who have used Catskill Botanicals' products have said they help with pain, eczema, psoriasis, inflammation, varicose veins, dry skin, sun spots, fine lines, rashes, bites, bumps, and bruises. I hope that my skin care products help people with their skin conditions as much as they have helped my family. How to Use: Just a small amount is needed. Apply to area that you would like to help and gently rub into your skin. Apply as frequently as needed or desired. Essential Oils: Each one of my creams has a unique blend of essential oils. Essential oils contain aroma compounds from concentrated plants, and are used in aromatherapy. Plant based herbal creams are all natural and may expire one year after manufacture [sometimes two years], so use quickly and enjoy! Due to the nature of working with fresh plants, my creams may vary in color.
