Meningitis & Meningococcal meningitis happens so quickly and can honestly happen to anyone. We never In a million years thought that this would be our reality... you read it in the papers or watch it on the tele...
The day Harmonie got unwell will stay with me forever, that TV program, that magazine story was happening in front of my eyes.
My happy baby was becoming lifeless, unresponsive and not forgetting turning purple from the septicaemia.
At one point we thought we would never see her alive again.
That smile right there was off the cards for Harmonie.
Never in a million years did we expect our precious baby to go through what she did, watching on and feeling helpless is one of the worst things as a parent you ever do.
We are one of the lucky ones! Because of the fab team at Bristol children's hospital intensive care unit and all the other medical professionals we still get to celebrate our lovely daughters milestones. Next year she will go to school, she will make more friends.
It's almost impossible looking back that she went through what she did...
She is so strong and amazing in every single way and we are so proud of her!
We love you Harmonie... to the moon and back again 🎀🌝⭐️
