Mildred “Mickey” E. Otterby, age 103, of Sioux Falls, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Dow Rummel in Sioux Falls. Private family services will be held at West Nidaros Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to West Nidaros Lutheran Church.

Lonnie Dee Hawthorne II, age 45, of Dell Rapids, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Dell Rapids. Per his wishes, Lonnie was cremated following his death. The family is hosting a celebration of life on November 8, 2025, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, at the American Legion in Dell Rapids. The celebration will continue at The Gulch in Garretson, after 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to help the family with related expenses are deeply appreciated.

David Lyle Farmer, 84, of Crooks, South Dakota, passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2025. Prayer service will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Minnehaha Funeral Home in Baltic, SD. Burial will follow at Benton Lutheran Cemetery, rural Crooks, SD. A time for visitation with family will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00. In lieu of flowers family will direct memorials to the Benton Lutheran Cemetery fund and the South Dakota Lions Foundation supporting eyeglass donation.

Clara Schreier, age 90, of Dell Rapids, SD went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Dells Nursing and Rehab Center in Dell Rapids.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Dell Rapids with Fr. Bill Hamak celebrating.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM followed by Wake Service and Rosary on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Minnehaha Funeral Home in Dell Rapids, SD. Following the Rosary, public visitation will resume until 7:00 PM.

A service to celebrate her life will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Embrace Westside Campus, 100 N Ebenezer Ave in Sioux Falls. Interment will follow the luncheon at Rosendal Lutheran Cemetery, rural Sherman. Visitation will be from 4-6:30 PM Wednesday, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, 104 E 4th St, Dell Rapids.
