Small Garage Fire

On March 4th, 2026 Delmar Fire Department along with Salisbury and Hebron Fire Departments were alerted for a structure fire. Units arrived to find a working fire in an attached garage. Crews made quick work of the small fire. All residents escaped without injuries.

February 22, 2026. Motor Vehicle Collision. Delmar Rescue 74-6, Engine 74-1, Car 74, Paramedic A-74 and Paramedic B-74 responded for a vehicle accident with roll-over at the Foskey Lane curve. One patient was transported with a minor injury.

Assist Salisbury with a House Fire, Wicomico Fire Box 16-3

On the evening of February 23, 2026, Delmar Fire Department was alerted to assist Salisbury on a house fire on Naylor Mill Road. Engine Tanker 74-2 and Truck 74 responded in blizzard conditions. 74-2 arrived as the second due engine and assisted crews with interior attack. Truck 74 had a delayed response as they were on another call. That crew assisted with overhaul.

DFD ran several other calls including a reported first due house fire, a gas leak, several tree and lines down and medical assists.

Vehicle Overturned Sussex Highway

February 15, 2026, Sussex EOC alerted Delmar Fire Department for a vehicle accident with injuries and rollover. Units arrived to find a single vehicle accident with a vehicle that rolled over several times. The vehicle landed on its wheels on top of an underground electrical box. One patient was transported with minor injuries. The scene was turned over to DSP and the electric company.

Assist Salisbury with House Fire

On the dreary day of February 15, 2026, Wicomico EOC alerted Salisbury, Parsonsburg, and Pittsville Fire Departments for a structure fire on the East side of the city. Crews arrived to find a one story house with smoke showing from the roof line. Station 74 was added with two tankers. Engine 74-2 arrived and assumed the RIT responsibilities. 74-2 and Tanker 74 supplied water to the engine companies. 74-2 crew also assisted with overhaul. One subject was removed from the residence in good condition.
