Healthy Food is a human right. Our meals fuel our bodies and minds. It is not a bargaining chip.

I care about what I put into my body and what goes on the table at home. It makes a difference in the active, full lives my family and I lead.

There’s why I’m offering Yoga for Meals this month. The first 2 weeks, we raised over $300. Yesterday, my family helped me shop and stock this fridge in downtown Albany, a few miles down the road.

Next Monday 11/17 @ 6 pm is another chance to join us and feed our neighbors. We can all do something. The need is tremendous and people are grateful. 💛

This morning I hosted the monthly Women’s Networking Group through the

We heard from Carrie Brown of about her incredible foundation in Ghana around inclusive education and healthcare for children.

We sat in a circle on exercise balls, yoga blocks, plyo boxes, weight benches and the few chairs in my studio.

And I forgot to take 1 photo! 🙃📸

So here I am, IRL with my 🍎snack and my vacuum cleaner, multi-tasking & tidying up. That’s how it happens sometimes…the days are full!

It was great to meet all who came and see the work that a BCHS alum is doing in the world. Absolutely incredible.

We all lose bone as we age, and the long-term effects of this are osteoporosis and an increased risk of bone fracture. I’m often asked about how to maintain and improve bone health—so in a previous newsletter, I addressed this question, as well as providing some valuable resources for you.

The Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation reports that up to 50% of women and 25% of men aged 50+ will break a bone due to osteoporosis. It’s hugely important to build the best skeletons we can in the first 30 years of our lives and then try to maintain bone mass as we age. But how?

Took a ride after all of my scheduled items yesterday and it was glorious! This was my view. 🍁
Moments like this fill my cup.

Core parts of day included:

☕️A chance to sip with a slower morning
🐶Dog walk with one of my kids 💗
👚 Laundry & meal prep
🎧Listen & participate in Sunday 11 am call on mental performance, setting “no matter whats” and a gratitude practice. (For the 16-week course I’m in the middle of.)
🪑 Move lots of furniture at my parent’s house with my siblings and my kids.
🍦Attend soft opening for our town’s new ice cream shop!
🚴🏻‍♀️Alone time on my beloved bike. Movement outside, in the fresh air, gives me clarity.
