In a recent ruling by a federal judge in Ohio, may now have the responsibility of documenting ‘red flags’ pertaining to opioid prescriptions.

🚨 Huge news from the FDA! 🚨

A new subcutaneous formulation of (Brixadi) was approved today for opioid use disorder.

Biggest difference compared to current SC bupe?

More flexible dosing ➡ can be dosed once weekly or monthly!

Obviously, great for expanding options for patients. Will certainly be interesting to see costs and insurance coverage coming out the gate 💰 .

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Brixadi to treat moderate to severe opioid use disorder (OUD).
