To say my weight loss journey has been a "challenge" would really be an understatement. Today I felt the need to share my journey a bit and isn't that what social media is all about, showing off? Many people have messaged me about my journey and I'm happy to talk about it. Going from a size 24 to a size 3/4 is a pretty drastic change and it most certainly has played hard on my mind. I feel like me again. I feel free! I can breathe, I can tie my shoes, I can reach things on the floor, sleep without choking or snoring. Most importantly, I no longer feel like a slave to my addiction, food. Although addiction is life long and this battle is far from over, I finally feel in control for once. I have explained food as an equivalent addiction to he**in and i stand by that. For those of you that say that "gastric bypass is the easy way out" let me tell you this, YOU'RE WRONG! Would you tell someone who is having/had Lasix Eye Surgery that it's the easy way out and they should be damned to eternity to wear glasses? Sounds stupid, doesn't it...
