This morning I had the opportunity to present FOUR life saving awards! As an American Heart CPR Instructor, I take great interest in hearing feedback from my students on their experiences when they have to use their CPR skills. Not all life saving attempts are successful, but these 4 men provided members of their community a chance at living another day. Congratulations to Deputy Forrest, Deputy Fiddler, Deputy Fincher, and Sargent Kingery for using your training to provide the best outcome for the individuals they helped.

Don’t wait to learn CPR, it’s a skill you should have and hope you never need to use.

Huge THANK YOU to Janet Nelson Allbaugh for setting up a community CPR class at her Health Office. I feel honored to be allowed in so many different facilities to teach. Not all of my classes are open to the public, but this one was perfectly sized and a great environment for learning. Another successful class in the books ✅

I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has supported me the past 6 years as a CPR Instructor. Most people probably don’t look at my CPR business as supporting small business, but that’s exactly what you’re doing. I’m thankful every day to have met so many new people through this endeavor.

Thank you to Cass County E-911 for having me come in and teach CPR at your center. Tonight I got to meet the lovely group of ladies that are always heard but rarely seen. I feel truly grateful that I was asked to teach at their facility.

Pending approval from the American Heart Association, I’m considering doing a virtual CPR class. Obviously there will be guidelines. I’m just looking to see who would be interested.

So, while you may be unable to train because of COVID-19 in your area, we are updating guidance released on March 13, 2020 regarding card extensions. The American Heart Association will now extend AHA Instructor and Provider Course Completion Cards for 120 days beyond their recommended renewal date, beginning with cards that expire in March 2020.
