September Courtney Rebecca (Miller) Caracheo

September Courtney Rebecca (Miller) Caracheo, 45, of Delphi, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 26, 2026. September was born on May 29, 1980 in Lafayette to Tracey (Miller) Myers and joined by Denny Myers in 1993, who survive.

In 1998, September married the love of her life, Angel Caracheo, who survives.

September attended Delphi High School. In her free time, September loved watching movies with her friends and family. She had a passion for anything arts and loved to watch people create and design. She also had a passion for science related things and had a fascination with anything outer space related. She loved to watch forensic files with her family and anything alien related on the history channel. Her most cherished time spent was with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Surviving September include her husband; Angel Caracheo, parents; Denny and Tracey Myers, children; Clayton Miller, Ricky Caracheo, Chloe Caracheo, grandchildren; Valen Caracheo, Viren Caracheo, Rowan Miller, Jacoby Miller, siblings; Kayla Wood, Monica Abbott, Noah Cadwallader, Shelby Cadwallader, Tonya Goris, brother; BJ Lawson, step-siblings; Mandy (Ryan) Altman, Jason Myers, Alisha Myers, several nieces and nephews, and her loving fur babies; Marley and Luna.

September was preceded in death by a sister; Rachel Lawson.

A memorial service honoring the life of September will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 6 pm, with Pastor Dan Fisher officiating, located at Shirey Funeral Home, 121 N Union St, Delphi. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 4 pm.

Memorial Contributions honoring the life of September may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.

Bonnie Jo (Wilson) Humphrey

Bonnie Jo (Wilson) Humphrey, 84, of Delphi, passed away peacefully at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Bonnie was born on March 3, 1941, in Carroll County, to the late James and Katherine (Rogers) Wilson. Her first marriage was to Keith Kesterson on November 5, 1960, and he preceded her in death in 1990. She later married Zenas “Joe” Humphrey on February 2, 1996, and he preceded her in death in 2007.

Bonnie graduated from Delphi High School in 1959. She later went on to work for the Indiana Division of Family and Children Services, where she retired after 25 years of faithful service as a Caseworker.

In her free time, Bonnie enjoyed crafting and playing bingo with her friends. Her most cherished time spent was with her family, and especially her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.

Surviving Bonnie include her daughters, Greta (Bob) Kessler and Cathy (Brian) Kesterson; stepdaughter, Cheryl (Ken) Griffin; grandchildren, Jason Kessler, Kacie Kessler; great-grandchildren, Gunner Kessler, Vivienne Kessler, Ross Kessler, Cami Busch; 11 step-grandchildren, and 18 step-greatgrandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by a sister, Sherri (Billy) Hinton; and husbands, Keith Kesterson and Joe Humphrey.

A funeral service honoring the life of Bonnie will be held on Monday, March 2nd, 2026, at 1 pm, with Pastor Bob Duke officiating, located at Shirey Funeral Home, 121 N. Union St., Delphi. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Morning Heights Cemetery in Delphi.

Memorial Contributions honoring the life of Bonnie may be made out to the Delphi Public library, or a charity of your choice. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.

Herbert Lee Campbell

Herbert “Herbie” L. Campbell, 84, of Monticello, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, At IU Health Arnett in Lafayette. Herbert was born on March 29, 1941, in Lafayette, to the late Herbert and Eleanor (Iles) Campbell.

Herbie graduated from Flora High School in 1959. He later went on to serve in the United States Army. Herbie worked at PSI, which later became Duke Energy, where he dedicated over 30 years of service before eventually retiring.

Herbert was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi. He also served with the Knights of Columbus. Herbie had a heart of service and enjoyed volunteering for anything he could. When he wasn’t volunteering, Herbie enjoyed the lake and enjoyed spending time on his boat in the summer. Herbie’s other favorite past time was rooting for IU whenever he could. Most of all Herbie loved spending time with his family, and especially his nieces and nephews.

Surviving Herbie include a niece; Tania (Don) Cruser, a great- niece; Abigail Cruser, great- nephews; Samuel Cruser, Maxwell Cruser, and many friends.

Herbert was preceded in death by brothers; Donald Campbell, and Robert Campbell.

A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Herbert will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, beginning at 12 noon, located at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi, 207 N Washington St, with Father Chris Miller the celebrant. A rosary will be offered at 11:30 am. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10 am. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport, where Military Rites will be performed.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions honoring the life of Herbie may be made out to Christmas Baskets, Inc. Envelopes will be provided at the church.

Mitchell Loman

Mitchell Loman, 72, of Delphi, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 23, 2026. Mitchell was born May 22, 1953 to the late Paul and Joan (Robinette) Loman.

On January 17, 1994 he married the love of his life, Jacqueline (Myers) Loman, and she survives. They were blessed with 32 years of marriage.

Mitchell was self-employed and a Jack of all trades! He was an expert Roofer, had a passion for leatherworking and blacksmithing, and he also loved to tinker with anything and everything.

Mitchell is survived by his many friends and a loving family.

Robert "Bob" Wayne Burton

Robert Wayne “Bob” Burton, 72, of Delphi, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Bob was born on December 24, 1953, in Lafayette to the late Donald and Vada (Wilson) Burton.

On July 31, 1976, Bob married the love of his life; Mary Ann (Hyman) Burton, and she survives. They were blessed with 50 years of a happy marriage.

Bob was a 1972 graduate of Delphi High School. Bob had worked at Anderson’s Cob Mill in Delphi where he retired after nearly 30 years of service.

In his free time Bob had a passion for anything outdoors related. He loved to go fishing and camping. He proudly severed as the president for the County Park Board. He also had a passion for music and listening to his extensive collection of vinyl records. Bob also enjoyed rooting for IU. His most cherished past time was spent with his family, and especially his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his loving wife; Mary Ann Burton, children; Marc (Patsy) Burton, Matt (Kristen) Burton, grandchildren; Cole Burton, Payten Burton, Logan Burton, and Makaylie Birge.

Bob was preceded in death by a brother; Jerry Burton.

A funeral service honoring the life of Bob will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 1 pm, with Pastor Bob Duke officiating, located at Shirey Funeral Home, 121 N Union St, Delphi. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11 am. Burial will follow at Rockfield Cemetery.

Friends are encouraged to wear IU apparel on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s honor to Friends of Carroll County Park.
