We do our best to make sure that our nutritional services offer attractive menu choices at each meal and that our residents enjoy their dining experiences with appetizing food served in the right environment. We keep out activity calendars filled with a variety of events that offer something for everyone because social and physical activities help residents stay healthier, happier and more engaged. A heartfelt thank you to the Delphos St. John’s Mission Society students for making our residents’ Valentine’s Day so incredibly special! The gorgeous carnations you brought filled the room with color, joy, and so many smiles. 🌸

Your thoughtfulness, warmth, and generosity truly touched everyone’s hearts. Our residents loved spending time with you, and your visit meant more than words can express.

We are deeply grateful for your kindness and for sharing such a beautiful act of love and community with us. 💖

With the Olympics in full swing, we brought some of the excitement right here to our residents! 🏅🔥

We had a blast playing our own version of an Olympic Torch Relay game — think Hot Potato with a fun Olympic twist! As the music played, the “torch” was passed around. When the music stopped, whoever was holding the torch had to act out an Olympic sport for everyone to guess.

From snow skiing to ice skating and everything in between, the room was filled with laughter, big smiles, and lots of cheering. It was such a joy to see everyone getting involved and showing off their creativity.

Mission Monday~Staff Spotlight! 🌟

Today we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Minnie Miller from our Dietary team! Minnie joined us a couple of months ago, and we’re so happy to have her back. She previously worked with us for two years while she was in high school, so she’s no stranger to our mission and our team.

Outside of work, Minnie enjoys bowling and reading, and she brings that same focus and positivity into everything she does here.

Thank you, Minnie, for all that you do — we truly appreciate you and are grateful to have you as part of our team!

We had a blast playing Straw Ball! 🏓🎉
The goal was simple (and hilarious): use a straw to blow the ping-pong ball off the table onto your opponent’s side.

We played several rounds with both residents and staff, and everyone had a great time! 😊

Today we’re excited to shine the spotlight on one of our amazing Environmental Services team members — Vicki Coil!

Vicki has been a valued part of our team for 3 years, and her positive attitude truly makes a difference every single day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and her four dogs 🐶❤️. One fun fact about Vicki? She loves collecting coins — such a cool hobby!

Vicki is always smiling, laughing, and taking time to talk with our residents. She is truly a light to everyone she meets, and her kindness does not go unnoticed.

We want to send a HUGE thank you to the amazing Delphos Firefighters for coming out today to visit us and help celebrate a very special milestone — our resident, Helen Klopfenstein’s 101st birthday! 🎉💙

When they heard about her and her birthday, they made a special visit today to wish her a happy 101st, and it truly made her day (and ours!).

Thank you, Delphos Firefighters, for your kindness, compassion, and for going above and beyond for our residents. Moments like these mean more than you know! ❤️🚒🎂

Today we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Nicole Khork, one of our amazing members of the Environmental Services team!

Nicole has been with us for just under a year, and in that time she has become a valued part of our organization. She brings dedication and a positive attitude to everything she does.

Outside of work, Nicole is a proud mom of three grown children and a loving grandmother to one granddaughter, whom she enjoys spending time with. She’s also a dog lover with two dogs and loves traveling whenever she gets the chance.
