LTO BEHAVIOR SERVICES is hiring:
A BCBA Coordinator manages and oversees the delivery of evidenced-based ABA therapy services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related developmental differences. Clinical Coordinators will perform assessments, develop clinical programs, assist in the development of behavior plans and FBA?s, lead and supervise treatment delivery by therapists, train staff, and work with parents and families.
Essential Accountabilities
Conduct comprehensive skills and behavioral assessments and develop individualized ABA treatment plans/programs based on assessment results, IEP?s and team input.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, and develop Behavior Intervention Plans
Create materials and data sheet collection systems as needed to support program implementation
Oversee clinical programs and behavior plans implementation and provide clinical supervision to staff
Modify plans and programs as needed based on data-driven decisions
Provide training and consultative services to staff, families, school districts, and other professionals
Lead periodic team meetings with families, teachers, therapists and other professionals
Provide initial and ongoing training to Steps Educational employees and families
Collaborate with team to write progress reports and treatment plans, and develop IEP goals ensuring that they meet the requirements of regulatory agencies and funding sources and are clinically accurate and appropriate
Design and monitor data collection systems to ensure clinical integrity and progress towards goals
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy as needed
Model and intervene when necessary in behavioral and health related incidents/crisis situations
Write reports and maintain student records and documentation
Work collaboratively with other members of the student?s team, family, and other professionals
Coaches teams on the procedural implementation of clinical programs and behavior plans via on site training and team meetings
Creates and implements a fidelity audit to ensure implementation of programs and plans are meeting high standards of clinical integrity
Provide regular feedback with colleagues regarding program development, training, and ex*****on
Supervise students in his/her care at all times
Contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned classroom including organizing materials and teaching stimuli, sterilizing toys and surface areas, placing trash in designated area to be collected, and other daily needs to ensure a clean learning environment
Attend professional in-services in areas related to job responsibilities
Collaborate with Directors and share information/expertise with colleagues
Read current information in professional publications to remain abreast of educational research
Meet all deadlines for turning in required paperwork (including but not limited to IEP data, behavior data, notebook checks, field trip paperwork, quarterly progress reports, service records, time sheets etc.)
Complete paperwork in a neat and legible manner.
Complete all required trainings
Complete other related tasks as assigned
Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or related field required
Preferred Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA or BCBA-D) required
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with children with a developmental delay, communication disorder and/or autism spectrum disorder
Clinical experience conducting assessments using the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS) and/or Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP); developing treatment plans, programs, and materials; supervising clinical staff; and monitoring progress. Experience working with and training families.
Familiarity with Skinner’s verbal operants and Naturalistic teaching procedures
Experience with providing services to families and children in their homes and in inclusionary settings.
