The shocking part is that 90% of these go unreported… meaning those who have suffered from these traumatic head injuries continue to suffer with no medical attention, no proper care or treatment, or worse, risk for conditions that threaten the quality of life, such as depression and lack of focus or mental clarity.
Head Injury Treatment Corp (H.I.T.) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization seeking to help open the doors to an improved quality of life for those who suffer from Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS), and increase awareness about the “invisible injury.”
Quality of life should never have a price tag. Through your support and donations, we aim to bring those who suffer back to the life they knew before their injuries.
