This wood has been carved to make it appear that there is a second layer under the first. The carver is so skillful he is working with subtle contours to awaken the imagination to fill in the rest. Such precision of vision, such subtle clues. Like this person hidden in the wood, my potential is hidden inside of me. Can I see it? Can I see the potential in others? When my eye is on potential, I begin to see beneath the surface. Today let me see potential in myself and in everyone.
