We have a new messaging system called Nimble. When your prescriptions are ready, you will receive a text like the one below. This app will allow us to accept signatures and payment online to reduce your wait time in the store. The app will be fully integrated within a couple of weeks.

The Rx Local app remains active for ordering refills and communicating with us at anytime. We appreciate your patience and support as we implement these updates.

Just a reminder! We are getting questions about our locations. We currently have only one location in Demopolis. We are still located next to Dr Chu’s clinic. We are also located in Greensboro and Livingston.

We are opening a second location in Demopolis in the new medical complex. It will be located ACROSS the highway from the old CVS building and adjacent to Advanced Auto. Construction began this week!
We are excited about the future and we will provide updates as we can.

Download our new app from the AppStore. It is called RxLocal. This will be our preferred method of communication as it is compliant with medical privacy practices, and will allow us to communicate with our patients more easily. You can view all active prescriptions, add multiple family members and view their active prescriptions, and request medications directly from the app! If you have questions about specific medications, we will be able to answer them from the app.
RxLocal will offer a variety of services to enhance your experience and make it easier to stay connected.

Good things to come for Boone’s Pharmacy and Demopolis! We are so excited about our second location coming in 2026! You asked and we listened! We are proud to say this location in the new medical plaza will have a drive-thru!

This one has been in the works for a while and we are excited to finally share the vision for the corner of Highway 80 and South Cedar Ave in Demopolis! Construction starts soon and will be completed in 2026.

With the announcement of The Alabama School of Healthcare Sciences coming to Demopolis, our goal is to provide a medical plaza to support the upcoming needs of the area.

Currently, Boone's Pharmacy has committed to occupying a large portion of this new construction. Boone's Pharmacy is excited about being able to offer their customers the added convenience of a drive-thru at this additional location in Demopolis.

We would like to thank the patients of Demopolis for continuing to choose us to provide your pharmacy needs! We recognize how busy we’ve gotten post CVS closing and apologize for any inconveniences in delays of providing you with the customer service we know you deserve. That’s why we’re ecstatic to announce our upcoming changes!

We are implementing a pharmacy computer system update next week. This will initially cause some delays in our prescription filling process. We ask for your patience during this time. This system upgrade will bring many new benefits for our customers.
