After more than a decade of serving this wonderful community, it is with a heavy heart that I announce Habersham Drug will be closing soon. This decision was not made lightly, as this pharmacy has been so much more than a business to me. However, the current economic challenges, along with policies that favor larger corporate pharmacies, have made it harder for independent pharmacies like ours to thrive.
As we prepare for the closing of Habersham Drug, we intend to make every effort to ensure our patients are taken care of during this transition. We will continue to fill most prescriptions until Friday January 10th, 2025 and will assist you in transferring any active prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice. We Know our fellow independent pharmacies Tim’s Pharmacy (Cornelia), Express Med (Clarkesville), and Baldwin Pharmacy (Baldwin) care for their patients as passionately as we care for ours!
It has truly been a privilege to serve you and your families. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you who supported Habersham Drug. Your loyalty, encouragement, and trust made this all possible. Each of you along with our amazing team have all made Habersham Drug a special place, a home, and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your lives.
