It FINALLY happened — our Annual Chili Cook-Off at Oak Grove was a huge success! 🌶️🔥

We had a blast welcoming the Jasper County Sheriff's Office - Indiana and Keener Twp. Vol Fire Dept for a fun-filled day of friendly competition, great food, and even better company. Congratulations to Officer Steve on winning once again… though we’re pretty sure there might be a secret ingredient involved (and we’re looking at the Mrs. 😉).

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a fun and memorable time for our community!

Our hearts were full at Oak Grove as elementary students stopped by to sing Christmas songs for our residents! 🎶❤️

We’ve been blessed with so many visitors lately, and each one brings joy, laughter, and special moments to our community. These young voices filled the building with holiday cheer and put smiles on every face.

Whether it’s putting together a cozy puzzle with friends or relaxing by watching the birds flutter and sing near the lobby, our indoor spaces are filled with simple pleasures. The sound of birdsong drifting through the halls brings a calm comfort to our days—and a few smiles too!

We had such a special visit a few days ago from the first graders at DeMotte Christian School! 📚🎶

Our residents absolutely love when these young friends come by to sing and read books, and this visit was truly a treat. Their smiles, songs, and sweet energy brightened the whole building!

Our residents had a wonderful time creating their own gingerbread masterpieces — and of course, enjoying plenty of candy along the way! It’s always a joy to see everyone laughing, snacking, and embracing the holiday fun together.
