🚨 As of October 1, 2025, Louisiana Medicaid transitioned from a single Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) to each managed care organization (MCO) managing their own PBMs. The MCO also are managing their own Prior Authorizations and Claims. Enrollees should have received new health plan ID cards with updated pharmacy information and should use the new cards this month.

Please bring in your new cards to help make this transition as smooth as possible!

(Without updated cards it is taking our team much longer to process rejections and search for your new updated benefits information.
This has caused a delay in prescription processing and longer wait time for customers.)
