Tennis Elbow Vs. Golfer's Elbow
Tennis Elbow
• Pain on the outside of the elbow
• Caused by overuse of the forearm muscles that extend the wrist
• Common with gripping, lifting, typing, or repetitive arm motions
• Not just tennis players, office workers and parents get it too!
Golfer’s Elbow
• Pain on the inside of the elbow
• Involves the forearm muscles that flex the wrist
• Often aggravated by gripping, throwing, or repetitive pulling motions
• Again, not just golfers!
Good news:
Both conditions respond well to proper care, including:
•Activity modification
•Targeted stretching & strengthening
•Soft tissue work
•Chiropractic care to improve joint mechanics and reduce strain
