We give thanks every day we have food on the table, a friend to talk to and a warm place to lay our heads each night.
So honored to be participating in the Thanksgiving Class this year. As the volunteer teacher I was able to choose the organization that will receive the donated class fees. So this year all contributions will go to 🇺🇸
I reached out to learn more about the needs of this organization and spoke with the Director of Development, Jeffrey Begg. I wondered if we should have students bring canned food items as well but Jeff let me know that many vets need toiletry items - shampoos, soap, toilet paper, paper towels as well as food for their pets!
Jeff explained, “Our veterans are proud, and often they put their pet’s needs before their own. When you bring toiletries or pet food, you’re not just giving supplies, you’re giving dignity and relief to someone who’s served.”
At this time of year - and always - let’s look out for those who stood out for us to protect our freedom and join me Thanksgiving morning for a special all-levels vinyasa flow. Bring some toiletry items, your mat and your gratitude.
